'Beauty and the Beast' Trailer Breaks Record, Beats Fifty Shades Darker and Star Wars as Most Viewed Trailer in 24 Hours

The "Beauty and the Beast" Trailer has finally been revealed by Disney this week. The first preview of the new film which is nearly two minutes in length has already broken records as it beats "Fifty Shades Darker and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and is now the most viewed trailer in 24 hours garnering around 127.6 million views worldwide.

Beauty and the Beast Trailer - What's In It

The trailer shows awaiting fans a little of the timeless story of a young lady destined to fall in love and help a man that has been bewitched as a beast. The film promises to stay true with the original cartoons version and will even use the same music as it was shown in the trailer.

The trailer of the Disney film is now the most watched in 24 hours, thanks to huge Hollywood names of the cast, as well as some promotions that has been done by them including cast members posting it to their official social networking accounts and the Facebook Live with cast and director Bill Condon as the trailer unveils.

According to BBC, "Beauty and the Beast" trailer has beaten "Fifty Shades Darker" that has been viewed 114 million times, and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which has been viewed 110 million.

Emma Watson Enters A New World of Magic

For years the company has been talking about this new version of "Beauty and the Beast" and the main attraction will be Emma Watson as Belle, who is popularly known as Hermoine in the "Harry Potter" film saga.

Watson even published through her Twitter and Instagram the official poster of the film, which will hit theaters in the US and the UK on March 17, 2017.
