Volkswagen Unveils International Eco-driving with New Video Game

Volkswagen is always in the lead when it comes to inventing interactive new ideas for its customers. 

And this time, Volkswagen is introducing an interactive game, along with an international contest, to encourage eco-driving. The aim for the "Think Blue Challenge" is to get drivers to adapt a car's speed and braking in order to lower CO2 emissions. The game can be downloaded an iPhone, iPad or Facebook app.

According to the website, Sports Car Illustrated, "Think Blue Challenges" will be held in many countries and will pit the best players from each country against one another. Winners of these national challenges, as well as holders of a wildcard from the virtual game, will all go to California for the "Think Blue World Championship 2012." from Nov. 24-28, where they will have a chance of becoming world champion. 

Qualifying lasts until Sept. 16.
