Though it might look like its been beaten down and abused for many years, a customized Toyota Tundra pickup was actually paying tribute.

Built by NASCAR drive Clint Boywer, the orange rust-colored vehicle was a homage to American heartlands . The pickup  truck features the classic look and design specially created for a workhorse style. It has a vertical bar grille, vintage style 20-inch wheels, bed floor and new paint from Sherwin Williams.

And that's just the outside, one peek in the interior reveals vintage cloth seats and a slew of old fashioned looking features. The piece of artwork truck was graciously donated by Toyota to the Barrett-Jackson auto auction company in Orange Country to raise money for the Emporia Community Foundation. Reminding of the purpose, the charity was created to benefit the citizens of Emporia, Kansas.

"When the bidding began it started out slowly and looked like around $30,000 was going to be the winning bid price for this exclusively designed truck. To add much fanfare Bowyer threw on a driver suit and a trip to next year's Daytona 500," reads the official press release from Toyota Motors.
