Media outlets are in a buzz as recent developments on "Fast and Furious" movie actor Paul Walker's death have just ruled out Porsche responsible for his untimely death, by a California federal judge yesterday, CNN reported.

The lawsuit was filed by Walker's driver-friend Roger Rodas' widow Kristine Rodas. Roger,38, was in the same car that burst into flames a minute after it crashed into a power pole on a road in Santa Clarita, California almost three years ago. Both men died on the same day.

Kristine Rodas stated in the May 2004 suit that Porsche be held accountable for the two men's deaths, due to the inadequate safety features in the Porsche Carrera GT model that was driven by her husband Roger, leading to their demise. As a response to the filed suit, U.S. District Judge Philip S. Gutierrez ruled out on the Porsche car's failed suspension as the cause behind the crash as per AP

"Plaintiff has provided no competent evidence that Rodas' death occurred as a result of any wrongdoing on the part of defendant," noted Judge Gutierrez, according to the news agency.

Two other cases filed against Porsche by Paul Walker's father and Meadow Walker, the actor's daughter, are currently pending in the Los Angeles county's superior court.

Up to this day, Porsche still maintains its stand on no fault in the design, production, and marketing of the said model.

The investigation according to Detroit News, made by the California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department leaned towards "unsafe speed", and not mechanical failure as the reason for the crash. The Porsche Carrera GT had gone up to 94 mph when the accident happened. Company engineers who had assisted during the investigation attested to the said findings, contrary to the Walkers' suits that the vehicle had been running between 63-71 mph prior to it spinning out of control.
