The NHTSA blames both the U.S. federal government and automakers for installing satellite enabled electronic devices for resulting in the deaths of 3,092 U.S. drivers.
The NHTSA also claims that warned both parties before launching any electronic devices into cars to conduct safety evaluations, but neither the car makers nor the federal government appointed an inquiry committee before allowing the vehicles to be driven on roads.
The U.S. Department of Transportation made a public comment, voicing concern that the most the accidents are majorly due to driving distractions.
According to the Department of Education, if a driver looses sight of the vehicles next to him/her, then there's a 90 percent chance the vehicles may be involved in major road accidents or crashes.
Despite concerns and fears, automakers continue to come out with the latest satellite enabled equipments and electronic gadgets to attract new buyers.
