First Female CEO In Sauber Formula One

The Sauber Formula One team is the only team in the world of Formula One to have a female CEO running the entire operation.

Peter Sauber, the managing director of the Sauber Formula One team, chose Monisha Kaltenborn to hold the Chief Executive position for the team for this year. Kaltenborn, born in India, has been selected by the management of the Sauber team to improve the results of the team in the poll standings of the Formula One ratings.

Sauber agreed on the performance of Kaltenborn and her level of expertise, which is very important for the success in the Formula One race.

"She has been performing outstanding work ever since the BMW pulled out of the Formula One in 2009. From that day to till this day, Monisha has been doing an extremely hard work to improve the ratings of our team. And we have always supported her brilliancy and her adaptable work in working together as a team leader. Considering all of her performances to this day, we have promoted her as the new Chief Executive Officer for Sauber Formula One team," said Sauber to the media.

Kaltenborn has been associated with the Sauber Formula One team since 2001. Having served in different positions, Kaltenborn has handled the member of the board of directors as well as officer of legal affairs in 1998.

"I truly respect and honor the decision taken by the board of members of the super team. And I have always strived hard for the team and will do it to win more races to come. We have a strategy to work on in the coming races and hopeful that we would come out of it as the winners," said Kaltenborn after taking over in her new position.
