Man Destroys $170,000 BMW With a Sledgehammer at Auto Show (VIDEO)

A man was filmed destroying a $170,000 BMW with a sledgehammer earlier this month outside the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany.

The video posted online shows Hadi Pourmohseni and a friend taking two sledgehammers to a BMW M6 at the auto show.

Pourmohseni said he purchased the M6 back in 2008 and he's had a number of different problems with it since, according to 9NewsWorld.com.

He's taken the BWM to a number of different dealerships to see if they could fix the car, but no one was able to figure out how to complete the job.

Since no one could fix the car, Pourmohseni decided to destroy it.

"BMW Italia and the Munich headquarters have pushed the responsibility back and forth," said Pourmohseni to German newspaper Bild. "I have written BMW a letter - no response, now I answer with this action!"

A crowd gathered to watch the incident once it became clear what Pourmohseni and his friend were doing.

Police eventually decided to step in to ask the men what they were doing before allowing them to continue, according to Metro.com.

BMW is "looking into the case" as of press time.
