Apple VR Under Works? Release Date Set On 2018?

The technology market has evolved with virtual reality starting with the defective Samsung Note 7. In fact, it has not yet redeemed itself in the mainstream industry but it has been speculated that Apple VR would be installed into the upcoming iPhone models.

The AR Industry

Companies such as Oculus VR, Samsung, Alphabet, among others, have entered into the world of virtual reality. However, there's one astounding company that has not announced entry - Apple. After introducing the brand new iPhone 8 model, the tech producer had hinted that an Apple VR feature may be installed into the updated gadgets.

As reported by The Street, the company has been working with Carl Zeiss, an optics manufacturing company, to create VR glasses that may be released into the market by next year. In fact, during a Consumer Electronics show, Zeiss himself hinted that the Apple VR may soon join its competitors in the market but would not be materializing any time soon particularly when Apple barely releases spoilers on its latest updates until nearing launch.

In other news, Artchitosh reported that the VR industry had been developing and would continue to do so by 2017. In fact, a market study was initiated by ReportLinker that stated VR has been renowned to American users and such market segment had been acquiring products with the feature since September of 2016.

Apple AR Possibility

 Although the Apple VR feature was expected since its competitors have adapted such, the source indicated that the company may not enter the VR concept but the Augmented Reality or AR as the herald of the feature. Long-term fans of the bran had been speculated to have plans set for such developments in the last decade.

The Apple VR feature may not enter the market anytime soon but Kerris, the chief technology officer of Lucasfilm indicated that this market may not be as evolutionary as other opted. Would the Apple AR be published soon instead?
