Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay Buys 15th Ferrari

Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay of "Master Chef," "Hell's Kitchen," and "Kitchen Nightmares" fame has bought a new Ferrari, pushing his total number of the sleek Italian car to 15.

For No. 15, Ramsay purchased an all-new F12 Berlinetta, which is Ferrari's fastest model ever. It comes with 740bhp V12 engine. The celebrity chef reportedly paid $388,000 for the car.

"I work for perfection every day and winning three Michelin stars was a dream, but my second biggest dream was having my first Ferrari," he told The Scottish Sun. "From the minute you step inside to the minute you get out of the car and from the factory you have one word in mind - perfection. I mean perfection 100 percent, absolutely incredible. And you can feel the passion in every corner of Ferrari from the stitching, to putting the engine together and these amazing test drivers."

Ramsay ordered his latest Ferrari after touring the Maranello Factory. Impressed by its latest features and futuristic exterior design Ramsay took a test drive in F12 Berlinetta before buying it. The model's V12 engine can go 0 to 62 mph in 13.1 seconds.

Once the order was confirmed, Ramsay tweeted by posting a photo and the caption, "I'm in love."

But he won't be sitting behind the wheel any time soon. The celebrity chef is on a 12-month waiting list. The F12 Berlinetta will enter the U.K. market some time next year.
