Final Bugatti Legends Model Completes Lineup for $3.2 Million

If you have $3.2 million to spare, you could be the proud owner of one of just three Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Ettore Bugatti models slated for production.

Named for founder Ettore Bugatti, the limited-edition model marks the last of the Bugatti Legends series and is expected to debut on Aug. 15 at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Edmunds.com reported.

The six models in the Bugatti Legends lineup will be presented together at the event as a special, one-time showcase, Bugatti said.

The Ettore Bugatti namesake runs on a 1,183-horsepower 8.0-liter W16 engine that boasts a maximum speed of 254 mph while the top is down. The tank and oil cap are engraved with the Bugatti signature.

For the exterior paint, the final model in the Bugatti Legends lineup has a "yin-yang" split color scheme and a front made of aluminum with a clear coated finish, while the wheel rims match the rest of the body with a dark blue carbon finish.

"The eight-spoke wheel was created by Ettore Bugatti who was looking for a light wheel for his racing cars," the automaker said in a statement quoted by Edmunds.

Inside, the cabin features two types of leather and a dancing elephant logo in the vein of a Type 41 Royale's hood ornament.

Bugatti launched the Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Edition, the first of the limited-edition models to honor racing legends, in July of last year.
