2014 New York Auto Show: New Chevy Corvette Stingray Variant Confirmed

General Motors has confirmed that those attending the New York Auto Show later this month can expect a new variant of the seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

The automaker has also confirmed a number of new Chevrolet vehicles will debut at the show, like an updated Cruze vehicle, according to GM.

The automaker added that "a new addition to Chevrolet's small-vehicle portfolio," will be made this year, starting with a big debut in New York.

Chevrolet has yet to release more information regarding its upcoming vehicles however.

A number of media outlets seem to think the small Chevy will be the next-gen Chevrolet Spark however.

"Each of these diverse vehicles will help broaden Chevrolet's portfolio and provide customers with fresh, new choices," GM said. "In fact, 80 percent of the brand's lineup is completely new or refreshed within the past three years."

The 114th annual N.Y. Auto Show will take place at the Jacob Javits Center, in New York City. The show runs from April 17 through the 27th.
