2015 Honda Fit Available For $16,315

Honda has announced the price for its redesigned 2015 Honda Fit, which will be sold for just $100 more than its predecessor.

The new Fit will be available for a base price of $16,315, including a $790 shipping fee, according to the automaker.

Meanwhile the top-of-the-line 2015 Fit EX-L will be sold for a base price of $21,590, including shipping.

The Fit EX-L comes with a navigation system and continuously variable transmission, according to Honda.

New trim levels advertised for the Fit includes LX, EX and EX-L.

The EX-L vehicle is only one offered with the continuously variable transmission however, according to Honda.

Honda has equipped the new Fit with a 130-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to either a CVT or six-speed manual transmission.

The base 2015 Honda Fit LX with the CVT will be sold for a base price of $17,115, including shipping.

Standard features confirmed by the automaker includes: LED taillights, Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera, and roofline spoiler.

EPA estimates shows that the base Fit vehicles with the six-speed manual transmission returns 29 mpg in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway.

The Fit competes with a number of similar vehicles like the 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris, and many more.

Interested customers can expect the 2015 Fit to hit dealerships in the U.S. later on this month.
