2014 Chevrolet Equinox LS Priced for $25,315

The base 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LS crossover has been listed for $25,315, including an $875 shipping fee.

The price means the new model will be $230 more than the 2013 vehicle was sold for, according to Edmunds.

The Equinox competes with similar models like the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV 4.

Standard features on the LS FWD model includes: a ECTOC DOHC Direct Injection 4-cylinder engine matted to a 6-speed automatic transmission, power steering with tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and six air bags.

Bluetooth wireless technology for select phones, free OnStar for six months, and 17-inch aluminum wheels, are also standard.

Additionally, the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ will be sold for $32,525, including shipping.

Chrome-clad wheels will be a standard feature for all LTZ models.

The 2014 Equinox is "a carryover" vehicle, according Edmunds.

New colors available for the Equinox includes Silver Topaz Metallic and Red Rock Metallic.
