‘Pipi Longstocking’ Star Tami Erin Arrested For DUI, Hit-And-Run

"Pippi Longstocking" star Tami Erin was arrested on Dec. 14 for DUI and felony hit-and-run, according to TMZ.

Erin, 39, was arrested in Los Angeles after hitting three cars in three different locations and fleeing the scene of the crime. She was eventually found and was forced to take a field sobriety test, which she was supposedly "totally out of control ... just out of it" during, according to police.

The actress was then arrested and held on $100,000 bail, according to TMZ.

One person was injured and hospitalized after the incident.

This is the second time Erin has been arrested this year, as she was busted in April for allegedly assaulting her roommate, according to The Huffington Post.

Erin is well-known for playing Pipi Longstocking in "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking," which was released in 1988. She hasn't done much besides that however, though she did attempt to make a move into the adult entertainment business this fall by releasing her very own sex tape, according to TMZ.

At first Erin's ex-boyfriend tried to shop the XXX footage of the child star around to different companies, but then she decided to just handle it herself.

"I'm happy I took control of the situation and made a decision as a strong independent woman. I love who I am and I love my sexuality. I've seen the sex tape now and it's hot," Erin said to RadarOnline.com last month. "Making love is beautiful and a very important part of a relationship. Everyone does it, everyone has sex. I'm a famous actress caught doing it."

Fox News claims Erin made at least $10,000 off the sex tape.
