Fiat 500L 2014 Review: Longer Car Now Available for Just $19,100 (VIDEO)

The Fiat 500L expands the company's appeal by offering a vehicle with 42 percent more interior space with seating for five, engaging driving dynamics and a 1.4-liter 160-hp MultiAir Turbo engine with two fuel saving, six-speed transmissions.

Since the modern Fiat 500's global launch in 2007, over 1 million models have been sold in 110 countries. The company feels confident that the new model will accommodate even more to life's "greatest experiences and emotions" like children, friends, music, and community.

The new model is approximately 6 inches taller and wider to allow more interior space according to a Fiat press release.

The vehicle's MultiAir Turbo engine not only delivers 160 hp, but 184 lb.-ft. of torque and up to an EPA estimated 33 mpg on the highway with either the six-speed manual or Euro Twin Clutch option.

Four different models will be available to customers including the Fiat 500L Pop, Easy, Trekking, and Lounge options.

The Pop model is listed at a suggested retail price of $19,100, including the $800 destination fee, where as the Easy model is listed at $20,195. You can purchase the Trekking option for $21,195, and the Lounge option for $24,195, both of which include the destination fee.

During the first year of Fiat 500L production, a no-charge Premier Package will be included with Easy, Trekking, and Lounge models. This limited-time launch package includes:

-ParkSense rear-park assist

-ParkView rear backup camera

-Uconnect 6.5 with a larger 6.5-inch touchscreen

The Uconnect features voice operation of navigation, AM/FM and mobile phones, handsfree phone and Bluetooth-streaming audio, and text message reader.

Other optional features include SiriusXM and Beats Audio studio-quality sound system with six premium speakers, 6.5-inch dual voice coil subwoofer with truck-mounted enclosure, and an eight-channel amp with Beats Audio digital sound processing according to Fiat.
