iPhone 6, iOS 7 Release Date Rumors: New Phone May Come on Labor Day, Apple Hires 40,000 New Workers to Keep up With Demand

Apple fans may not have to wait as long as they thought for the iPhone 6 device, as multiple reports are claiming the new smartphone will be out as early as Labor Day weekend in the U.S.

Some experts are claiming that if iOS 7 is done in early August the new phone could be released shortly after, but if not, expect the new device around September 2 according to a report by the International Business Times.com.

As soon as iOS 7 is done, Apple will then start sending out invites to its next big event to officially debut the new operating system, along with other products like the new iPod Touch and possibly the new iPhone.

Current specs that have been rumored for the new device include an A7 quad core processor and a larger storage capacity. The iPhone 6 is rumored to come in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB options according to the International Business Times.

Another unconfirmed feature includes wireless charging as one of the more common complaints about the iPhone 5 is its battery capability.

A number of different concept images of the device have made their way to the internet but none of which have been confirmed by Apple as of press time.

Apple is expecting such a high demand for the new device they've reportedly hired 40,000 new employees to get phones out quick enough according to a report by StableyTimes.com.

One of the main issues with the iPhone 5 release was that some people had to wait over a month to get their new phone.

After being released in September, it wasn't until sometime in October or even November that everyone who had ordered the iPhone 5 actually got their device.

Many people were even decided against buying the new device due to delays and chose another smartphone device like one of the many Samsung Galaxy options available instead. The company is hoping to avoid a similar issue from occurring once the iPhone 6 comes out.

Apple has also been telling people the new device won't be released until iOS 7 is ready as well, which means the release date could either be moved up or pushed back depending how things go.

Multiple media outlets have confirmed that Apple expects their new operating system to be released in the fall, but no time frame has been set as of press time.
