2019 BMW X4 Spied In Europe Wearing Camo

The 2019 BMW X4 was spied for the very first time in the back of a truck wearing a light camouflage in Europe. The test mule looks to have a more aggressive front fascia that comes with a separate bank of LED driving lights.

The sides of the new X4 have a more curvaceous roofline leading into a backlift-style rear and unique door pressings that have bulkier detailing near the sills. The X4 will also be using BMW's CLAR architecture which is already available to the latest 5 Series and 7 Series models. Similar to all modern architecture, it's made up of high-strength steel, aluminum, and other lightweight materials.

The new 2019 BMW X4 has a decent look that reveals very nice sleek lines. It captures the signature roofline of the BMW crossover coupes and keeps the three-window setup and has an expanded bean kidney shaped front grille. The badge of the new X4 is in line with the door handles.

In addition, the wheels are all newly designed and behind it are blue brake calipers. It is equipped with dual exhaust tips shaped in trapezoid and a big break point-out a higher trim and specification and is available in the M40i variant. Its rear end has a bit of resemblance of the Mercedes GLC Coupe.

Under the hood of the new X4 will likely be a turbocharged four-and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The X4's dashboard is expected to have the same dashboard and interior design with the X3, with differences limited only to trim and specs levels.

Many are expecting that the new 2019 BMW X4 will be lighter, sportier, PHEV-friendly and comes with a better technology and new engine options. As mentioned earlier, the X4 will more likely go on sale and hit the road in the late 2018 and will be sold as a 2019MY in North America.
