Jaguar Will Release 10 New Jaguar Land Rovers In 2018

Jaguar has always been a well-known company that produces high-end cars. The company will be releasing 10 new Jaguar Land Rover models in 2018.

New models will include Velar and Discovery with other additional models from their existing models. The first model, Jaguar XE Diesel, will be launched by the end of this month. While the two new models will be launched in the second half of the year.

Aside from that, Jaguar will be releasing two new products. Even though, these products have yet to be announced.

The company is producing new Jaguar Land Rover models because they were encouraged by the sales response they had in FY17. It could be remembered that luxury cars like Mercedes-Benz had a drop in sales for the first time in years, causing worry on Jaguar that has 10 percent share in India.

To avoid this, the company is planning to create more local products in India like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi. Jaguar India Managing Director Rohit Sori explained that they are currently creating five models in India, they are planning to do more.

Jaguar Velar will not be part of the new models assembled in India. However, Sori explained that the car will be included in the long run but not in the near future. He stressed that they would still have to assess the market response of the new models that will be launched in India.

The company is focusing on creating five car models. XE, XF, XJ, Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport in India. Rohit Sori also explained that Jaguar Land Rover is focusing on finalizing the additional investments they will be doing to create the product.

Jaguar Land Rover has 24 outlets in India and is planning to add 2-3 outlets in 2018. To date, the company is focused on conducting their Arts of Performance Tour that is a series of events that allows users to experience their vehicles with the help of an instructor.
