But even as these numbers for GM are not that good, the automobile company still has outstanding trucks that are considered the best pick-up truck for this year. Included in the list are the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra 1500 and Ford F-150.

2017 GMC Sierra 1500. This full-size pickup truck presents itself as an upscale version of the Chevrolet Silverado. It has a nicer trim and sculpted sheet metal. The base is 3.5 L V6 (253 lb. ft.) with optional 2.7 L turbo V6 (375 lb. ft) and 5.0 L V8 (387 lb. ft) which are all paired with 6-speed automatics. 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. This is one of the most muscular full-size pickup trucks that can be purchased in the market. It has a first class towing capacity with 2 powerful V8 engines. It has a user-friendly technology with comfortable interior designs that provides a smooth and comfortable ride for its passengers. The standard for the Silverado is a 4.3 L V6 with 305 lb. ft and 6-speed automatic. Other optional V8s are the 5.3L with 383 lb.ft and also a 6.2L with 460 lb.ft with an 8-speed automatic.
