Nurburgring is definitely the best place to test the capabilities of the best and finest fastest mean rides of the world. Recently, the Aston Martin DB11 Volante has been spotted there giving its prime and peak performance. From what was witnessed, it just did not perform, it killed the track!

Aston Martin did tease fans and car enthusiasts by releasing some images of the DB11 prototype. This gave the world a chance to see the possibility of how the beast of a ride should like. Fast forward some seven months later, it proved that the prototype looks identical even down to the stickers on the doors.

Aston has decided to have the rear wheel arches come with additional body work. It is good news, that the flanks (which many were not a fan of) will no longer be present on the production car. The front also looks like a hardtop as it was presented with no camouflage at all.

The Aston Martin DB11 Volante will be powered by 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine which is capable of producing 600-horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. It is important to note that the needed strengthening to offset the soft top potentially can make it run slower. However, slower in Aston Martin standards is still insanely fast and powerful so some may not mind.

The DB11 is reported to be launched next spring and is expected to make its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The Geneva Motor Show is significant as it opens various Auto Shows in Europe happening March of each year. This is the first auto show in Europe making it a perfect venue to introduce the DB11.

As the DB11 Coupe can accelerate from zero to 62mph in 3.9-seconds and reaches a top speed of 200mph, the Aston Martin DB11 Volante is expected to also come close to these numbers, however, it may not be able to entirely match it.
