2017 Italdesign Zerouno: Perfectly Represents The Forward-Looking Attitude That Unites Italdesign And Roger Dubuis

Italdesign Giugiaro is and Italian automobile manufacturer. They have announced their new car which is the Italdesign Zerouno. The 2017 Italdesign Zerouno has been revealed this year at the Geneva Motor Show.

The automobile is going to be a limited edition run.  It consists of just five cars.  It has a lot of unique and extraordinary body works which has some various scoops and wings that trigger an unusual and distinctive aerodynamic profile.

The designers and engineers of the 2017 Italdesign Zerouno have come up with their first concept of a lightweight car. The team worked all together at the same time to move the styling solutions, and practical feasibility checks forward until the ideal agreement is attained and fulfilled which makes the design and the performance requirements similar.

Antonio Casu is Italdesign's Chief Technical Officer. He stated, "The development of the Zerouno was based on the know-how achieved in the designing of hundreds of cars in our 49-years history." He also added that they applied the latest CAx and Simulation Technologies for them to make it on the timing target.

The entire bodywork of the car is in carbon fiber. It is measured at 4847 mm in length and 1970 mm in width by 1204 mm in height.

The exterior of the car has a tornado line. Above it has a definite softer and smoother surface. The designers and engineers have maintained the tradition of the Italian Gran Turismo. Aerodynamics is modeled below the tornado line. The team had to go further beyond the limits of styling to achieve the performances the all had in mind.

The lights that were used are Full LED technology. It also features an aerodynamic function.

The rims of the car were built in aluminum by the Italian company OZ. It has a diameter of 20". The rims were made to extract the hot air that is generated by the powerful carbon-ceramic braking system which has eight pistons at the front and six at the rear.

The interior of the car is both essential yet elegant. The door panels, dashboard, and central tunnel are all made exclusively with a carbon fiber material. Its dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox is run by classic paddles placed behind the steering wheel.

The 2017 Italdesign Zerouno has an aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine. It can manage an acceleration from 0-100 km/h with a time of just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed over 330 km/h.
