Overwatch Will Have A Huge Game Story Expansion

Fanatics of the team-based multiplayer video game developed and published by Blizzard, Overwatch, are excited to know more about the future of the heroes and the game. It is said that fans may need to wait at least a week before they can all fully get the latest updates on their favorite hero player.

Just ahead of the release of the new character, Orisa, Jeff Chamberlain the VFX game supervisor and Michael Chu, the lead writer had a conversation with ING. Top of the said conversation is the update as to the story of all the characters, game story, and the future of the game itself.

As to the Overwatch lore expansion, Chamberlain revealed that there would be more of the short films that will become a part of the game. They have always wanted to make numerous stories as fast as they could for the characters. With the meeting they had, they came up with different options and landed on the mentioned series of shorts.

Blizzard is considering some new ways in delivering stories in the game. They also assured the fans that as long as they have stories to share, they'll find a way to deliver it to the audiences.

With that being said, fans should expect more of origin stories which are also expected to come out in short clips or comic strips. It is also noted that the released of the game's story update is after the publication of the new Binary comic.

As to the support of the game to the Binary, the official description of the game is written as, "The latest installment in our series of digital comic shorts, Binary, takes place in rural Sweden shortly after the fall of Overwatch, where a terror from the past has recently re-emerged." There are big possibilities of a new story update with Orisa's release which is currently playable only on PTR. Meanwhile, fans are hoping for the next story updates to be as exciting as the previous ones.
