Mercedes-Benz is known for releasing cars that are beyond the average expectations. Thus, when the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class was announced, car enthusiasts can't wait to have first glimpse and try it out.

This is the first time that Mercedes-Benz will offer pickup trucks. When the automaker first announced its plans, many wonder how they can craft a pickup truck that will highly offer the same qualities and features of the previous units of the company.

In the past few weeks, the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class has been spotted several times. Several 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class spy photos spread om the internet.

Its prowess was being tested in the snow. In the spy photos, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class shares its platform and factories with the Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan. But, unlike the Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan, the Mercedes-Benz pickup will have a wider track and unique five-link rear suspension.

The chassis was also toughened and the unit is equipped with Mercedes-Benz exclusive engine powers. According to the news, the Mercedes-Benz possibly uses the 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 engine with the highest grade form pumps out 195kW of power and 620Nm of torque.

The two new pickup trucks will represent completely different characters. The first pickup truck is a Stylish Explorer with a sporty and premium driving experience. On the other hand, the Powerful Adventurer pickup truck offers a rugged and hardcore off-roader feel for the driver.

Previously, Mercedes-Benz stated that the new pickup truck is capable of carrying up to 2,400-pound payload and tow up to 7,700 lbs. The X-Class will be built in Spain and Argentina for the markets outside of the United States.

Up to this day, Mercedes-Benz hasn't announced any plans to sell the X-Class in the United States. If Mercedes-Benz gets the go signal, the automaker will bring the prototype in the United States to start the manufacturing and offer the unit later this year or on 2018.
