2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: Muscle and Technology Combined

Dodge will be launching the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon this coming 2017 at the New York Motor Show on April 11, 2017. Designed after the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, it promises to be more powerful and intelligent than its predecessor.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be finally unveiled and the company promises it would be more powerful than the 707 HP of its predecessor. Some of the modification done on the new car by increased torque is by using superior materials. A removable harness bar will be included. It could be easily removed or installed without the use of power tools.

Weekly video teasers are being released by Dodge to promote the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. This campaign will surely draw interest among enthusiast.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is equipped with a state of the art infotainment system. Jalopnik reported that it's the most advanced car from the famous auto brand. It can show the real-time monitor of speed, horsepower usage and torque can be read.

According to Autoblog, drivers can select its power levels, steering, paddle shifter activation and other controls. These are some features that you can only find in Hellcat models.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is also 100 HP more powerful than its brother the Hellcat. All this power will be moving is all wheel drive system shifted by an automatic transmission gear shift.

A manual transmission is on the drawing board but in progress. To make the vehicle faster, a 200 lbs. weight reduction compared to the Hellcat was made. More power and less weight? Fans know what to expect then.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon acceleration to 0-60 mph, 0-100 mph, 1/8 mile and quarter mile can be recorded. This would generally help the driver in their car handling and change of driving style. The infotainment system will let the driver choose the different modes such as Auto, Drag, and Custom which are available to them.
