‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Updates: DLC Pack 3 Features Future Trunks Arc, Confirmed! Zamasu, Goku Black Playable Characters?

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" updates for this week includes the recent launch of the second DLC pack, a free-to-play weekend, and of course the confirmation that a Future Trunks saga will be featured for the game's DLC pack 3. Still, speculations regarding available playable characters soon circulated, and among those mentioned are Zamasu and Goku Black.

With the recent launch of Bandai Namco's hit game DLC pack 2, focus now has shifted on the 3rd downloadable content. And of course, the studio released a teaser trailer for the 2nd DLC pack. But you might have missed one simple detail.

The announcement of the 3rd expansion featuring the Future Trunks saga (perhaps in the Story Mode) can clearly be seen at the end of the trailer. To be specific, check out 1:49 mark. And for sure you will. Bandai Namco sure knows how to keep the hype going and make fans look forward to the next expansion.

Similar to the second expansion for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" wherein it features Universe 6 saga of "Dragon Ball Super," it only makes sense that the Future Trunks saga will follow. However, the studio didn't give out other details other than the featured saga.

Following this news are theories regarding which available characters will be part of the expansion. Zamasu and Black Goku are among those rumored.

It is only natural that both characters will be playable as Black Goku is the future self of Zamasu, who actually hijacked Goku's body from an unaltered timeline in order to attain supreme power.

Siayan Island also points that SSGSS Vegito, Magetta (U6 saga character), and the major villain in the "Dragon Ball Z Movie 9" Bojack could possibly be playable characters in the upcoming expansion. However, Bandai Namco has not officially confirmed any of the aforementioned theories regarding the playable characters.

In other "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" updates, Since March 3 until March 5 (Sunday), Xbox Live Gold members can play the game in its entirety completely free, reports GameSpot. Further, all save files, achievements, and progress will be saved in your account. So you can easily continue once you buy the game.

You might want to as "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is on sale for $36 standard edition and $67.50 for the deluxe edition. This will only last until March 7, Tuesday.

So, what do you think of the upcoming DLC pack 3 of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" feature the Future Trunks saga? If reports are true the Black Goku and Zamasu are part of the playable characters, how damage can they bring to the arena? Don't forget to watch the video below.
