2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner: The Epitome Of Luxurious SUV

Mar 04, 2017 10:50 AM EST | Andrew Davis

Have you met the bespoke 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner? Set to debut next week at the 12012017 Geneva Motor Show, the automaker took the covers off early to unveil a version that pushes the envelope of luxury to a whole new degree.

Publicized as the “Ultimate Luxury SUV,” Bentley’s in-house personal customization wing created the SUV of your dreams, complete with contrasting yet complementing colors, seats bathe in hand-stitches, and don’t forget that Champaign bottle holder and cooler if you want to impress your date.

Its powertrain was relatively maintained. The 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner still sports the 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine under the hood.

It still develops 600 horses and 660 lb-ft of torque. And being one of the fastest SUVs on the planet, this bespoke version still is capable of a 4-second 0-60 mph dash, reports MotorAuthority.

Basically, Mulliner’s expertise has been limited to the exterior and interior luxurious upgrades. In fact, this is the second time the personalization wing of the British automaker put their hands on a 6.0-liter W12-powered Bentley off-roader.

You will find color transitions between the types of wood used inside the bespoke 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner. This is paired with the two-tone theme of the front and rear seats, which are finished with contrast stitching and unique Mulliner embroidery.

There are 7 varying colors schemes to choose from and is suggested to the buyer when he or she opts for a two-tone exterior paint. Also included is the ambiance setting, “My Mood,” but a standard is a 20-speaker audio setup and Bentley Dynamic Ride roll control.

According to Bentley, this “allows occupants to choose from 15 different colors, while also adjusting the brightness indoors, armrests, and footwells.” A crystal champagne flute and just two seats can be found in the rear, with of course a new Mulliner Bottle Cooler fitted into the rear center console.

Meanwhile, the two-tone theme inside continues outside of course and this will also be available across the Bentayga lineup this April, according to AutoExpressUK. Painted in contrasting shade are the pillars, roof, and bonnet, creating the “floating” look.

The 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner receives a unique 22-inch Paragon seven-spoke wheels with floating wheel centers. Also present is a new bright chrome lower bumper grille along with a unique set of badges.

Mulliner Tourbillon by Breitling clock is one of the more optional extras for this bespoke SUV. Customers have the option between a mother-of-pearl or black ebony clockface, decorated with eight diamonds.

Catch the bespoke 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next week. It will be available for order this spring, that is, if you have enough dough to spare. But pricing is yet to be announced.
