XFX Radeon RX 460 Single-Slot Graphics Card is the Perfect Hardware for Mini-ITX Builds

Aftermarket hardware manufacturer has recently released a single-slot RX 460 graphics card. The XFX Radeon RX 460 features a single-slot design which makes it perfect for users who are building a small form factor computer. The graphics card is also ideal for builds that will use a Mini-ITX motherboard.

The XFX Radeon RX 460 Slim Single Slot Design lineup is available is two models depending on VRAM choice. One model packs 2GB and the other has 4GB, both are GDDR5 memory technology, according to AnandTech.

Since this is a slim version of the original RX 460, XFX has to cut down on some edges. Fortunately, XFX was able to keep most of the important specs completely untouched. According to the official XFX website, the cards will ship with a 1090MHz core clock, 1220MHz boost clock and they are also expected to sport 896 stream processors.

The XFX Radeon RX 460 cards have one DisplayPort 1.4, one DL-DVI-D port, and one HDMI 2.0b port. Cooling the graphics card is a rather large aluminum heatsink with a 90mm fan. Radeon graphics card are praised for their low TDP, and the XFX variant is not an exception. The XFX Radeon RX 460 as a TDP of 75W.

In terms of performance, not much were changed on new XFX Radeon RX 460 graphics cards. Nevertheless, the main selling for XFX here is the card's uncommon single-slot design and a short length. The graphics cards are just 170mm long and are fully compatible with Mini-ITX builds.

As of this writing, the XFX Radeon RX 460 Slim Single Slot Design graphics cards are available on online stores like Newegg and Amazon. The 4GB model of the graphics card costs $167.99 on Amazon and $139.99 on Newegg. The 2GB version of the graphics card is still unavailable for online retail, although it is expected to hit the market before the month ends.
