2017 Toyota Sienna: Family Friendly and Easy to Drive

The 2017 Toyota Sienna is a top-selling minivan. It is an ideal family car and it is easy and fun to drive. Together with the Honda Odyssey, the Sienna is arguably one of the best choices as a family-friendly ride.

Pros and Features. The Sienna is a minivan that drives like a car. According to Edmunds Expert Review, it has a refined ride quality with a positive feel from the driver's seat.

The car features high-quality materials the is very sleek throughout the cabin. It has a broad range of adjustments for the second-row seats. In addition, this is the only minivan that offers an all-wheel drive option.

Cons. The Sienna's second-row seats are awkward and heavy. Removing them is difficult. It also has fewer features than some of its newer competitors.

What's New? The 2017 Toyota Sienna gets an upgraded V6 engine and a new eight-speed transmission. Apart from those upgrades, the other features and options remain the same.

Trims. The 2017 Sienna minivan comes in five different trim levels: L, LE, SE, XLE, and Limited. The SE, XLE, and Limited come in Premium sub-trims. The LE and XLE are available in seven and eight seater models, while the L and Limited are available only as a seven seater. The SE is an eight-passenger vehicle only. All trims come standard with front-wheel drive, but the LE, XLE, and Limited are also available in all-wheel drive.

The L trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, and other standard tech features. The LE adds roof rails, power-sliding rear doors, and privacy glass. It also comes with a bigger touchscreen and a six-speaker sound system.

The Toyota Sienna SE has the same features as the LE but adds a sport-tuned suspension. It also has sharper steering, 190inch alloy wheels, and a unique front fascia. It also has a lower-body skirting and a power liftgate.

The SE Premium adds a sunroof, keyless ignition and try, and a navigation system. It also has more safety and tech features. The XLE adds a four-way power front-seat and unique imitation-wood trim. The XLE Premium adds rear parking sensors and a better navigation system.

The range-topping Limited trim has all the features of the XLE Premium except for the rear entertainment system. It also adds a distinctive grille, LED daytime running lights, front and rear sunroofs, and better safety and tech features.

Verdict. The 2017 Toyota Sienna is a top choice for a minivan, according to Kelley Blue Book. Hopefully, the 2018 Toyota Sienna will be available soon, since the 2018 Honda Odyssey has already leaked.
