Lotus Reveals Their One Of A Kind Lotus Evora Sport 410 As Tribute To The Original Esprit S1

Built as a tribute to the original Lotus Esprit S1 that was made famous by the James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me", the all new one of a kind 2018 Evora Sport 410 boasts some unique features both inside and out of the car. It features a bespoke color scheme and interior which is built by a small British sport car maker's in-house personalization department, Lotus Exclusive.

Jean-Marc Gales, CEO of Group Lotus plc said, "So many of us recall the impact of the Lotus Esprit when it hit the big screen in 'The Spy Who Loved Me,' and we wanted to honor that with a special Evora Sport 410. "It's the perfect tribute to such an influential Lotus, but the world away in terms of its abilities and performance."

The company has combined the latest engineering with details to the new supercar taking design cues from the Esprit. The all new Evora Sport 410 weighs around 1280 kg and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. It's equipped with a supercharged 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine that can produce 410 hp at 7000 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. It has a top speed of 305km/h.

Other features include a custom front bumper, black coach line, one-piece carbon-fiber tailgate and a bespoke badge script on the B-pillar as the main characteristic of the exterior. The interior features a carbon-fiber sports seats and door cards trimmed in Tartan, red contrast stitching, an Alcantara dashboard and console finish.

Gales stated that the one of a kind supercar perfectly absorbs modern technologies from the Sport 410 borrowing classic styles from the Esprit. The Evora Sport 410 is believed to have a price tag of around $199,990.  In addition, one of the original Esprit S1 submarines that were also used in the movie was sold to Elon Musk in for 2013 for a whopping $940,500.
