Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Leaked Image Reveals With New Stylus, 4K Display And Kaby Lake

Leaked Images of Microsoft's new device, the Surface Pro 5, has been spotted when an image of the device was published on Microsoft's French website. With the new Windows 10 software, the Surface Pro 5 would be a great device to showcase its power and capabilities.

According to WCCFtech, the leaked images proved no new information that could be learned from regarding the device. The Surface Pro 5 looks exactly like the Surface Pro 4 except with the stylus being placed at the top of the tablet, rather than its side. With no significant design upgrade of the device, it is arguable that the image was a title error.

Furthermore, Express reports that the Surface Pro 5 can play videos and play games in higher quality with a screen upgrade. 4k UltraHD resolutions are now compatible with the device. It is thought to still be lightweight with an aluminum protection inside and also keep the 12.3 inches size to still make the device portable.

The device is likely to be powered by the new Kaby Lake processors enabling to highly compete with the iPad Pro, as it would be more efficient and faster in its performance. The Surface Pro 5 is expected to have around 512Gb of storage and 16GB of RAM.

A common crucial point for Microsoft is how it would handle the criticism for its battery life on their hardware devices. The Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book received a lot of criticism when it was first released. Microsoft has still not yet responded to this criticism.

Another claimed report is that Microsoft is working on a separate version of the device that would enable it to connect to mobile devices. This allows the Surface Pro to tether and also become a hot spot for connectivity, which ensures the user would always be online with both its device to choose from.

With the next generation of Windows 10 software to be launched in April, the company could reveal the Surface Pro 5 late spring. Till then, only the leak image is what we know off about the device. More updates and information regarding the Surface Pro 5 is still yet to come.
