Cities: Skyline is coming to the Xbox One soon. The Xbox One version of the hit city-planning PC game will be released in spring of this year.

Cities: Skyline for the Xbox One to arrive soon. Game publisher Paradox Interactive has released a video trailer for its city-planning game for the Xbox One gaming console. The video trailer was released on February 15, 2017.

The game was originally announced for the Xbox One quite a while ago. Fans need not wait any longer as the classic game will soon be available on the Microsoft flagship gaming console.

Fredrik Wester, Paradox Interactive chief executive officer was quoted as saying, "Paradox is a company that's proud to publish and support 'niche' games, and we're happy to be able to bring those specialized experiences to console as well." He further added, "Cities: Skylines has built one of the biggest and most active communities we've seen among Paradox's fans, and that's saying a lot. We can't wait to welcome Xbox One players into that group, and I'm eager to see the towns and cities they can build."

The Xbox One version is not just a port of the game but a game specifically made for the console and includes the After Dark expansion which with features that generally expand nightlife culture. The video trailer features the gameplay which is noticed to be a lot smoother and more fluid.

The Paradox Interactive game is a single player open-ended city-building simulation that was originally released back on March 10, 2015 for Windows, OS X, and Linux. The game received positive reviews from critics and is considered Paradox Interactive's best-selling title with over 250,000 copies sold in just the first two hours after its release.

There is no exact date when exactly the game will be released but it has been said to be sometime in spring this year. There is no word if the game will also be made available to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
