2018 BMW i8 Roadster: The Supercar Of The Future

BMW i8 is a part of the company's Project I and is first introduced as the concept vision efficient dynamics. This model has marked the flagship of the company and has been continuing with the upgrades over the years to produce next generation cars that can go along with the techno concepts that have been developing drastically.

This 2018 BMW i8 will have its interior to feature a steering wheel that is illuminated. It will show light color indication whenever the car is in an autonomous mode or requires the driver to take on the wheel. For the other mode (manual), the console screen will minimize into 7 inches to avoid information distraction.

Based on the spy shots, the model shows its firm from the concept that was made years back. The idea of a roofless and doorless i8 was first released at a motor show in Beijing last 2012. In 2016, Consumer Electronics Show that was held in Las Vegas has revealed the company's iVision Future concept as well as execute the demonstration of the new controlling gesture functions and other technology interfaces.

Meanwhile, in a short video clip, BMW i8 is shown with a BMW connection. It works as an assistant that will do the job in reminding the owners of any appointments, also provides route options, and does the role of a driving mentor to assist the driver and to have a great driving experience and a feeling of well-organized.

As of now, BMW has not released any specified details on when it will hit production. But according to Klaus Frohlich, BMW's manager, "we'll see more sometime in the not-so-distant future." On the other hand, there were spy shots of the car model, and it shows some impressive work marks that have left excitement for the fans who has been waiting for this i8 to be finally out. Meanwhile, the official launch is scheduled on 2018.
