Samsung's Filing To FCC Revealed Its Upcoming Galaxy TabPro S2 Full Specs! Full Details Here

It has for quite some time been speculated that Samsung will reveal the follow-up to its new Galaxy TabPro S 2-in-1 at the upcoming 2017 release of the Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled to held in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of this month. According to The Leaker, a site that specializes in tech leaks discovered the possible specs of the device in a recent filing that Samsung submitted by way of documents to the Federal Communications Commission or FCC.

But as expected, the Galaxy TabPro S2 is set to keep its forerunner's 12-inch, 2,160 x 1,440 resolution Super AMOLED display, which was commended for its high contrast ratio and wide color variety. The device is said to have a seventh-generation 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5-7200u processor with 4GB RAM that is based on the company's Kaby Lake architecture.

The FCC filing for the tablet has leaked some of its other specifications that will include a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that is capable of recording 4K video and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It's also outfitted with two 3.0 Type-C ports, Bluetooth 4.1 capabilities, dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz 802.11ac Wifi support, LTE support, a SIM slot, a large 5,070mAh battery with a 25W turbocharger, and it also supports Samsung's S-Pen and keyboard cover.

As mentioned earlier, the new tablet would be a follow-up to the previous year's Galaxy TabPro S, which runs on Windows 10 and also equipped with a Super AMOLED display. It runs on an Intel Core m3 processor, 128 GB SSD, and a 4GB of RAM. The tablet launched last year and now sells for $899.

While it's still not clear whether the specs in the FCC filing are accurate, Samsung hasn't commented on the leak. However, they are often close to the real thing.

According to the leak, Samsung will offer at least four variants of the tablet. It will also depend whether customers will opt for a Wi-Fi or LTE connectivity.

Also, the schematic released with the filing and the one that was posted by The Leaker appears a Verizon logo on the back of the tablet. It's still unknown whether it'll be the exclusive carrier partner. Samsung has not yet announced how much the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 costs, but it surely will be revealed this coming February 26th.
