2017 Toyota Tundra: The Full-Sized Powered Pick-Up Truck

The 2017 Toyota Tundra has some slight changes as to the quality of its equipment while the rest is maintained. This model is a full-size truck that is serious when it comes to off-road performance.

The truck's one of its capabilities is that it can handle over 10,500 hauls over tons of cargo. However, it can't reach the same advancements as what other leading segments have made today.

This car is all made in the US and is sure to meet the expected quality though it is not at the top of this year's full-size truck category. As for the trims, it has a six Tundra trim levels to offer from SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and the 1794 edition. However, the availability of these trims is subject to the location or region of the buyer.

2017 Toyota Tundra will also provide two options for the V8 class engines. The standard 2WD, a six-speed transmission in automatic and rear-wheel drive and the 4WD that comes with a two-speed transfer case which is optional.

The  4.6 liter V8 produces a horsepower of 310 with a torque of 327 lb-ft which is the standard for SR and all other SR5 models. It has an estimated fuel economy from EPA of 15 mpg for the city, 19 mpg on the highway and a combined of 16 mpg for the 2WD models. For the 4WD, it has a 14 mpg in the city, 18 mpg on the highway and a combined 16 mpg. Overall, the car has a 6,800 pounds towing capacity.

All 2017 Toyota Tundra comes with the 5.7 liter V8. It runs a 381 horsepower and a torque of 401 lb-ft. It is standard on the variations of the Limited, TRD Pro, Platinum, 1794, and optional for the SR5 models. Its EPA fuel economy measures 13 mpg in the city, 18 for the highway and a combined of 15mpg for the 2WD while fro the 4WD, it has a 13 mpg in the city, 17 mpg on the highway and a combined of 15 mpg. This one has an overall 10,500 pounds of towing capacity.
