The New Android Wear 2.0 Update Will Make Smartwatches Smarter Like Smartphones!! List Of Recipients And Features Here

Android 2.0 update has been announced teasing the exciting features coming to the smartwatches. Check out below the list of recipients and the incredible features to help you keep up with your lifestyle.

The following Android Wear devices will soon receive the 2.0 update: ASUS ZenWatch 2, ASUS ZenWatch 3, Casio PRO TREK Smart, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, Fossil Q Founder, Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Wander, Huawei Watch, Huawei Watch Ladies, LG Watch Urbane, LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, LG Watch R, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch, Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch, Moto 360 Sport, Moto 360 (2nd Gen.), New Balance RunIQ, Nixon Mission, Polar M600, and Tag Heuer Connected, Android Authority reported.

In another report, one of the major features of the Android Wear 2.0 update is the inclusion of standalone apps which enables your smartwatch to completely function on its own, without the help of your phone. This also means that the Google Play Store will now be available in smartwatches.

There will be new smartwatch apps from the Google Play Store once the Android Wear 2.0 update is activated. Users can directly download the apps to their smartwatch and the complementary version of the app was already eliminated.

The Complication API is the other latest addition in the upcoming Android 2.0 update. This allows wearers to customize their watch faces. With the upcoming 2.0 update, the watch faces will then look like a home page carrying the chosen widgets.

The best part is that the new update will allow the wearer to create multiple watch faces just like having multiple home pages in smartphones. This means that the wearer can perform multiple tasks with ease now.

Each watch face could have a chosen application which the wearer can navigate in a snap. If the chosen watch face contains the music streaming service, and the wearer needs to send a message, he just needs to flick to the other watch face containing the messaging apps.

Furthermore, the upcoming 2.0 update will bring the Google Assistant to the smartwatch. This feature is linked with voice commands beneficial in setting appointments in calendars, making shopping lists, or even booking restaurants or hotels. This Google Assistant can also be linked to other smart devices to gain access in controlling the other devices.

The Android 2.0 update will indeed make the smartwatch more efficient and dependable to keep up with one's lifestyle. Watch out for more updates once we learned about the release date of the upcoming update.
