2017 KTM 350 SX-F: Sturdy Bike With Powerful Agility

The 2017 KTM 350 SX-F is a sturdy bike with the combination of 450-style muscle and the agility of a 250. It has a lightweight chrome-moly steel frame, which supports the knack for easy handling. The frame of KTM bike is a high torsional rigidity and longitudinal stiffness.

Its framework absorbs the energy created from the front and rear suspension, which sucks up all the jumps and bumps of the motorcycle. The aluminum engine head contributes to helping the bike for more precise cornering and a reduced vibration level. The bike also highlights an additional light subframe made of solid aluminum profiles, which tiptoes the scales at under 900g.

The 2017 KTM 350 SX-F has 4-strokes, which is equipped with an electric starter as a standard feature. It has footpegs of 6mm higher than the other SX models. The motorcycle's airbox has a maximum protection of the air filter against soiling, which it ensures maximum airflow. KTM handlebars are made of high-quality aluminum by NEKEN, which is settled in damped elastic mountings and has two unique positions. An ODI vulcanized grip sits on the right, while on the left half of the bar an ODI bolt, which is on hold and mounted and does not require any wire or paste to be patch up.

The motorcycle brakes are combined with lightweight wave discs made by Galfer, which features a 10mm longer brake pedal and less aggressive brake pads. The swingarm is cast with aluminum design offers little weight and a perfect flex behavior.

The 2017 KTM 350 SX-F offers a lightweight polyethylene tank with a capacity of 7.0 liters of juice. It also comes with lightweight CNC-machined hubs and high-end Excel rims, which guarantee maximum stability and minimal unsprung weight. The wheels are made with the latest Dunlop Geomax MX 3S tires.
