Opel Insignia Sports Tourer Might Be A Preview To The Buick Regal Wagon

The Opel Insignia Sports Tourer is set to make the debut at the Geneva Motor Show. However, the vehicle has already been revealed.

Blessed with good looks the Insignia Sports Tourer has an awesome exterior design. It has a profile which is slung very low. It also has a sloped D-pillar. The stylish design of the vehicle is made better with an elegant strip of chrome trim that gets wider as it runs from the base of the A-pillar to the top of the tail light on both sides of the car. It also has a roof-mounted spoiler and the vehicle has horizontal tail lamps.

The Insignia also has a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. This connects the passengers to the internet in a jiffy. The car also has IntelliLux adaptive LED matrix headlights.

It is said that the vehicle will be using the GM's FlexRide system which is improvised. This means that the driver can adjust the damping and steering according to his own will. There are three modes which let the driver shift timing and throttle response. There will be an option of choosing a torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system will be available as an option, reported Motor Trend.

It is reported that the European customers will be given a choice between gas and diesel engine options by the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer. The engine is coupled with an automatic transmission to a speed eight. The specification of the engine is unclear yet, reported Digital Trends.

The infotainment system in the vehicle is through a frameless touchscreen in the center. It is completely compatible with Apple CarPlay. The vehicle has a 360-degree camera system. It also has a technology that will help the driver to keep to a lane.

The Opel Insignia Sports Tourer is set to give equal importance to the looks as well as the performance. It belongs to the new generation of wagons. The Sports Tourer has a sleek look and the vehicle is better than the current model. It is also lighter by 440 pounds lighter.
