Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies UPDATE - Details Inside

Finally, the new Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies update has been released. This update is applicable for both PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

The update recently released by developers Infinity Ward includes a list of several brand-new game modes, fixes, and gameplay improvements. The full list of patch notes can be found below.

Unfortunately for Xbox One owners, some of these item changes only apply to PS4 players. According to reports, this could be due to the release of the first Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC, Sabotage. The said game has needed its own tweaks and rebalancing.

More changes have also been made to the base Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies adventure, Zombies in the Spaceland. This game is currently the only chapter available on both Xbox One and PC.

According to Infinity Ward, fans can expect the next Undead chapter to arrive at the beginning of March. This is due to PlayStation's 30-days exclusivity deal with Activision.

The featured and new contents will include the Demolition Game Mode which will be available from February 3rd-10th. The Double Key Weekend will also happen to start on February 3rd to 6th. Infinity Ward also added a Hardcore Sabotage Moshpit in the DLC tab as well as a Sabotage TDM. As expected the Sabotage Moshpit playlist is kept in DLC tab.

As for the general fixes, Infinity Ward provided a fix for an issue where switching from one trait to another during round based modes, the new trait would not work. The update will also provide a fix for players being able to reach an out of bounds area of the map on Dominion.

A fix for the trait icon appearing incorrectly during a kill cam if the player selected a new trait midlife will also be available. Infinity Ward also reduced the kill requirement from 3 to 2 for a single shot of the Gravity Vortex for the Rig body unlock the challenge.

According to reports, the tracking Payload streak kills will continue to count kills after the user has died or the weapon has been put away. This fixes an issue where players were unable to have the second shot from the Gravity Vortex count towards their streak kill progress.

Countdowns have also been updated. The Phase Shift cooldown has increased from the 60s to 90s while the rewind cooldown has increased from 60s to 90s. On the other hand, the overdrive cooldown has increased from the 70s to 90s and the gravity Vortex cooldown has reduced from 310s to 290s.

That's not all, the Reactive Armor health was also reduced from 133HP to 114HP and the Reactive Armor duration has been reduced from 9s to 7s. On the other hand, the Active Camo duration has been reduced from 10s to 7s and the Pulsar cooldown increased from 120s to 150s. Lastly, the Pulsar marked time has been reduced from 6s to 5s.

As for the weapons, the Hailstorm has decreased fire time between bursts. Slight increase in damage range was also added.

The DMC-8: also slightly increased damage and damage range while the DCM-8 - Masochist's Lifelink Perk was also updated to Large mag size. Taking damage fully regenerates mag. For the complete list of weaponry updates, check out this list from Express.co.uk.
