Canon has launched its Powershot G9 X Mark II at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. G9 X Mark II is the latest ultra-slim camera connected to a smartphone which delivers superb images. It ensures DSLR-like creativity results.

The camera's sensor has 1.0 type with a 3x optical zoom, f/2 to 4.9 lenses. It has a large sensor with a wide aperture. It can be operated with a simple touchscreen.  The image sensor has 1.0 type back-illuminated CMOS which approximately 20.1M effective pixels.

The new Canon Powershot has a super fast AF and capable of continuous shooting in RAW. The lens has a focal length of 10.2 to 30.6 mm which is equivalent to 35 mm. The optical lens has 3x zooming specs and the zoom plus is 6x. It has digital teleconverter approximately 1.6x or 2.0x 2.

The lens construction has eight elements in six groups. It also has two double sided aspherical UA lens and one single sided aspherical lens. The image stabilization runs through the intelligent IS with 5-axis Dynamic IS and Auto Level. The focusing features have a TTL type which owns 31-point Face Detection or a Touch AF with Object and Face Select and Track. The lens can achieve a focusing distance of 5 centimeters wide and 35-centimeter length from the front of the lens.

PowerShot G9 X Mark II has Digic 7 and the improved wireless connection options. Digic 7 processor is the latest version of its imaging engine. It will bring a variety of small improvements to the camera.  It will have automatic scene detection and Picture Styles.

It can be connected via Bluetooth between the camera and a smart device. It also requires smart devices running an operating system iOS 8.4 or Android 5.0. The software applications are compatible with Windows 10 and the latest version of Camera connect app.

Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II is truly an ultra-slim expert camera which features photography to new artistic levels. It will be launched in February for $530.
