2018 Lexus LC Coupe Lineup Values Announced, Vehicles Under $100,000

Finally, the pricing list for the 2018 Lexus LC Coupe lineup had been revealed at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. Despite the models' impressive features, the values vested upon each were surprisingly below $100,000. What are the specs and their respective prices?

The Lineup and Values

Lexus' flagship models, the LC, had been finally announced to come with distinct prices depending upon the highest in performance features to the basic which were pegged lower than $100,000. First up, the 2018 Lexus LC500 would be for sale with a starting price of $92,975.The 2018 Lexus LC500 hybrid model, on the other hand, was valued to at least $97,485, $4,510 premium fee higher than the basic model. However, it has been announced that actual transaction prices may rise into six-figure category once buyers would add numerous options, reported Car and Driver.

If the consumers would purchase extra equipment such as 20-inch wheels, glass roof, park assist, heating and ventilation for front seats, blind-spot monitoring, Mark Levinson audio system which are all part of the touring package, an additional $4,000 would be added to the V-8 model while $2,790 would be for the hybrid. 

Other features that could be added are performance-enhancing hardware such as the sport packages, limited-slip differential. The former include add-ons such rear-wheel steering, active rear spoiler, and variable-ratio steering rack which would increase the base price to $10,000 more while $8,790 for the hybrid price.

The Specs

It was announced via Lexus that the 2018 Lexus LC 500 is powered by a 5.0L V8 engine which could deliver 471hp and generate 398 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, the 2018 Lexus LC 500h or the hybrid version is powered by a 3.5L V6 full-hybrid powertrain which could generate 354hp. 

The 2018 Lexus LC Coupe lineup will be available for purchase by May of 2017. The added values to the prices would be optional for buyers but the base price is lodged at $92,975.
