New Generation Citroen C3 Reinvented; Now Roomier with Better Infotainment System [Video]

The New Citroen C3 has been reinvented to present customers with something they cannot disregard. The focus is on making this version bigger than its predecessor and adding an infotainment system that can compete with those of other car brands. With its bluff nose, urban capsule looks and Airbumps that are bash-proof, this car carries the mark of a true French blooded car.

The wheelbase has been made longer, offering more room. The driver and passenger can sit in comfort because there is more leg room. The infotainment system boasts of the Apple Car Play and next year, the newly-built Citroen C3 will have Android Auto. The Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Monitoring and even Driver Attention Alert made this car all the more safer, according to Auto Evolution.

When it comes to riding comfort, the Citroen C3 has done a great job. The suspension is pliable and the damping brings comfort to the car occupants. It goes easy on the road with strong breaks and pedals that have plenty of feel. The steering wheel can be sensitive for the first time but once the driver gets used to it, it becomes easy to manage. The lurch disappears and a smooth ride can be experienced, according to Car.

With regards to its powertrain, customers are offered three options of petrol engines. One produces 81bhp while the other one that is turbo-charged produces 108bhp. The other one has 1.0-liter motor that produces 67bhp. Another two are powered by 1.6-liter engine of four cylinders turbo diesel that makes 74bhp and 99bhp respectively. The Citroen C3 is known for its being highly economical, according to Auto Car.

Indeed, the redesigned Citroen C3 will challenge other vehicles from its segment. It will come in three trims, the PureTech 110 and the Feel in the middle. The Touch represents the lowest trim. With red as the dominant color of the interior, the Citroen C3 is a car that must be taken seriously by its competitors. Prices for this car range from £10,995 to £17,095.
