Mercedes-Benz CLA Facelift 2017 Launch Just Around The Corner; Radical Cosmetic Overhauls Likely [VIDEO]

Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift 2017 launch is just around the corner. Mercedes Benz India is scheduled to unveil the facelifted CLA on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Sporting bevies of subtle design overhauls, the CLA 2017 will boast an array of smart features. It is worth noting that this compact executive sedan is already an awe-inspiring package.

The German automaker gave car buffs a first glimpse of the CLA 2017 at the New York International Auto Show, which took place in March 2016. Multiple reports surfaced later this year, indicating that the car was imported to India for homologation. If the import data is anything to go by, it's that both diesel and petrol car models car were imported into the country.

Earlier this month, the rumor mill began to churn all sorts of speculations around Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift 2017's launch date. It all comes to a boil as the automaker is slated to take the wraps off its much-lauded car shortly, according to India.com.

Since its launch last year, the entry-level sedan from Mercedes-Benz is finally getting its first vital update. Another report from Car Wale suggests that the facelifted CLA is slated to only receive a cosmetic overhaul, while everything else under the hood will remain unchanged.

That being said, one of the most noticeable design changes in the CLA 2017 would be a brand new bumper design that gives the car a striking resemblance to Mercedes' family face. The same can be said about the rear bumpers, which now sport larger chrome exhaust tips with gloss finished black bumper inserts.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift 2017 also boasts newly designed alloy wheels.

Other highlights of the CLA's modified front fascia include new LED headlamps, which retain the older ones' design and a mammoth radiator grille.

However, the Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift 2017's side profile will not undergo any sort of changes and will remain identical to the currently available model. It will also retain its coupe-like silhouette, sprucing up bold character lines.
