Holden Unveiled 2017 Barina City Car; Check Pricing, Specifications, And Other Features

The right time has finally come for Holden to introduce its new automobile variant, the 2017 Holden Barina City, to its loyal and avid followers. Its unveiling is meant to target a wide range of consumers, with the refreshed look of Holden's new city vehicle.

Holden positions 2017 Barena City between its Astra small and Spark light car variants' collections.

General Motor's Exterior Design Manager in Australia, Justin Thompson, mentioned that it is a good move for Barina to expand fairly and widen its global competitiveness for the younger adult market niche; this is the time to make it happen by introducing 2017 Holden Barina City car.

He also added that the firm took the risk exploring to come up with, develop, and manufacture a sporty, but at the same time, a comfortable car with a touch of convenience that 2017 Holden Barina car enthusiasts can take pleasure in, according to Drive blog post.

Sharp costs highlight the entry-level Barina LS five-speed manual model. Price range starts at $14,990 before on-road rates up to $17,190 --- should the owner prefers to personalize the car with a sex-speed automatic version. Fair enough, $2,200 is worth the upgrade. Isn't it?

Moreover, for those who prefer automatic cars, the range-topping LT variant is available for only a reasonable amount of $20,390.

Furthermore, 2017 Holden Barina City LT carries 17-inch alloys, heated front seats, Sportec trim on the seats, Push Button Start, Passive Entry, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, automatic headlights, Rear Park Assist, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, LED daytime running lights, and leather for the steering wheel attributes. With such features, it enables one to get a 5-star ANCAP rating --- regardless of the car variant.

On the other hand, based on a feature posted by autoevolution, the Chevrolet Barina hatchback hood conceals its 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which is physically aspirated with 85 kW (116 PS / 114 horsepower) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) on the valves.

Strategically, it is indeed a good move for General Motors to deploy all-new subcompact variants through its refreshed and innovative platform.

It is going to be worth the price you pay!
