2017 Honda CR-V Likely To Be The Next United States Best Seller [VIDEO]; Here's Why!

The all-new Honda CR-V is set to hit the retail showrooms in the United States. However, the recently announced vehicle will not be up for grabs in the U.K. until 2017, or probably 2018.

The Japanese automaker took to the LA Motor Show recently to unveil its 2017 Honda CR-V, just days before it went on sale in the U.S. Regrettably, Honda fanatics in the U.K. seem to be in for a really long wait.

The 2017 Honda CR-V is expected to offer LED lighting both on the front and behind, more confined A-pillars, and a comparatively longer bonnet. Aside from this, the vehicle boasts either an 18 or 19-inch alloy.

Moreover, this 5th generation Honda CR-V features a brand new platform and comes with never-before seen turbo-charged engine options, coupled with a longer wheel base. Also, the sculpted styling gives the vehicle a premium cosmetic appearance, according to AutooMobile.

In terms of engine specs, the 2017 Honda CR-V will pack a 1.5-liter VTEC turbo four-cylinder engine --- just like the Honda Civic model. The vehicle will also be able to offer 190 HP (horsepower), coupled with a 179 pound-feet of torque.

In addition, there will be a trim for a 2.4-liter base engine with 184 HP. These robust engines are further teamed up with a CVT (continuous variable transmission) gearbox. The 2017 Honda CR-V's body boasts dimensions that are wider, longer, and higher as compared to the earlier models, according to Forbes.

Furthermore, the new CR-V will flaunt a bolder look on its hood, panels and grille, and beefed up tire openings, which are furnished to fit bigger tires. There are also bevies of other features such as forward collision warning, emergency braking, leather seats, and wood trim on the dash.

Recently surfaced reports claim that the Honda CR-V will ride better due to its noise canceling system and NVH engineering, and will also be a lot quieter inside the cabin.

The Honda CR-V is already alluded to as one of the best in the SUV crossover domain. With further enhancements in the new model, there is a strong possibility that it might emerge as a top seller in the United States auto market in the near future.
