MacBook Air 2017 Release Date Confirmed For March Next Year? Latest Speculations Suggest Awe-Inspiring Specs [VIDEO]

Apple refrained from spilling the beans about some of their most awaited devices including the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air refresh during their last October's event.

While gadget freaks were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the new MacBook Pro 2016, the event left many disappointed as the Cupertino company remained mum about the equally anticipated MacBook Air refresh. Nevertheless, some zealous Mac Air fans still believe that Apple will announce an update for the Air lineup sometime soon.

Despite lack of an official announcement, there are umpteen reports indicating that Apple is prepping to announce a comparatively slender and smaller MacBook Air in 2017. Other reports hint that an E-Ink console is likely to be unveiled alongside the new device.

Rumors are running rampant that Apple has got into an agreement with Sonder Design, which is renowned for producing these consoles, in order to make consoles for the company. In other words, Apple MacBook Air 2017 is likely to boast an E-Ink console created by Sonder Design, MacWorld reported.

Moreover, the device is said to get rid of the USB-A ports in favor of the USB Type-C ports, according to MacRumors. Interestingly, there are very few details regarding the sort of processor the device will be powered by. While there is a possibility that Apple will not opt for Intel's Kaby Lake processors for the new MacBook Air in bid to keep the cost under check, the device is likely to come out with the Skylake chipsets.

Tech enthusiasts believe that the Apple MacBook Air 2017 will arrive with an array of awe-inspiring features including Apple Pencil-empowered Trackpads and a unique finger impression sensor. But that's not all; the upcoming lineup of Apple items is also expected to boast the virtual individual partner Siri.

Meanwhile, tech buffs are looking forward to March 2017 when they believe the company will unveil the new MacBook Air. However, it's important to bear in mind that the fate of the MacBook Air line is still unclear. Besides, an opportunity for the company to unveil the device has already come and gone.
