Official CyanogenMod 14 Nightly ROM is Available for OnePlus3

Android Geeks with Oneplus 3 are now excited to try the new ROM, the official CyanogenMod 14 Nightly. The new ROM for Oneplus 3 is already available this November. It is fun for users to install new ROM into their devices to have a better customization and options to play around, according to Techmalia.

CyanogenMod 14 Nightly brings new customization and options in the status bar, which allows you to modify the icons and the clock style as well. Brightness control is also available by just sliding your finger in the status bar upon enabling this feature. Pending notifications can also be seen in the status bar with its notification count. Easier features are also available like, double-tap on the status bar to sleep and swiping down from the top-right side, which is the Quick pulldown feature, bring up the quick settings, according to Andriod Authority.

What is CyanogenMod? CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for some handheld devices based on the open-source Android Operating System. Some features of the said firmware are not found in the official Android based firmware, according to Cyanogenmod. The list of handheld devices which Cyanogenmod ROM can be installed and also the Cyanogenmod updates are found in www.cyanogenmod.org.

The users should not be so excited in installing this firmware, there are two things to be considered. First, the Oneplus 3 should be Rooted before installing the ROM. Second, some features do not fully work yet. Like during charging, the battery icon does not change.

Although bugs are being observed from CyanogenMod 14 Nightly, the said ROM is stable for daily use. The unending development of Firmwares is making Android Geeks and regular android users wanting more development and innovation from these firmware creators.
