"For 50 years, Chevrolet has supported riders testing with this car acceleration will demonstrate our commitment to sport and the development of parts," said Jim Campbell, GM vice president of Performance Motorsport.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro Turbo AutoX

The Camaro Turbo AutoX is not designed to highlight only the aesthetic of the Camaro model, in fact,it is based on the cheapest mechanical variant, the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo. The reason is simple, it is the variant that has lower weight, so that the brand has chosen to highlight the athletic abilities in terms of handling, the Camaro.

The sixth generation of sports was born with a new frame designed to increase the dynamic performance of the model and intended to give greater agility, away from the outdated image of raw power, only usable in a straight line.

The Turbo AutoX, which reads autocross has a number of improvements at the rack level as stiffer springs and dampers specific, new stabilizer and 20-inch wheels with softer tires 285/35R20 and improved brake system. Changes that give less ground clearance and a sharper behavior.

In terms of mechanics, now it has new intake system and performance exhaust . It has not yet revealed its final power, but we understand that there must be improved somewhat compared to 278 hp (275 hp) originals. AutoX Turbo uses a six-speed manual transmission with a gated development.

Outside there elements in carbon fiber and new lower lip in aggressive bumpers SS type. In the same bumpers, we found a tow competition and GoPro camera .

2017 Chevrolet Camaro Chevelle Slammer

Unlike the Camaro Turbo AutoX, the Slammer concept is purely aesthetic and image is everything. For this, the brand employs many elements taken from the catalogs of high performance and personalization of the brand, highlighting the almost infinite aesthetic possibilities of the Camaro.

It builds on the version Camaro SS equipped with engine V8 LT1 6.2-liter and 461 hp (455 hp), adds elements brake and adjustable suspension in the catalog of a high-performance brand, the latter is as well as new exhaust system. Outwardly attract your attention the giant wheels of a five-arm 22-inch front and 24 inch rear and new chrome elements, found in grill and low side. Chevy emblem appears dark, creating contrast with bright horizontal slats.
