2018 Toyota Camry Spotted: Sleeker, Sportier and Has Four Exhaust!

The 2018 Toyota Camry has been spotted testing on public roads of the United States again and this time, it is with a sleeker and more aggressive look top off with a four exhaust tip. The spy photos showed various details like the more aggressive front and a more than evident quadruple exhaust outlet rear, that seem to indicate that Toyota will present a new range of TRD to rival the Ford Fusion Sport, according to AutoNews.

This prototype testing has a completely different camouflage to seen so far in other Camry's being tested. Its body appears completely covered with vinyl, with the usual irregular pattern in black and white, but does not let us see in detail its body, and only allow us a glimpse of some fundamental features of this new version.

The front fully agrees with the model that NASCAR accidentally revealed a few weeks ago. The central grille seems to have the same moldings, and under this, there is a large trapezoidal opening, flanked by two side air intakes shaped like a boomerang. The headlamps also coincide, narrow and slightly sloping towards the central zone, continuing the lines of the thin grill.

The sporty complete a small lip on the front bumper, followed by a discreet rear spoiler: Sport wheels 15 blacked radios do not show a large team of specialty brakes. Although this is not uncommon in a prototype testing.

This new generation will be an evolution of the current, at least in the aesthetic, as it will feature the new global platform TNGA of Toyota, recently released by the Prius .

Rumors have it that the new Camry will also feature aluminum elements in the body. Some sources claim that all panels will be made of this material, although others claim that only a part of them will be aluminum.

As for mechanical, people may find at the base 4 - cylinder engines of 2.0 and 2.5 liters. And crowning the range 3.5 - liter V6 that can also be found in other models of the American brand range as the Toyota Highlander. As for the possible TRD version of these images, it would be equipped with 6 - cylinder block with an approximate power of 300 horses . Associated with 8 - speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive.

2017 will be a big year for sedans as the 2018 Toyota Camry will arrive, it will face another debut such as the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and the revised Hyundai Sonata.
