The Upgrades

As was reported by Alphr, the upgraded version of the 2017 Nissan GT-R, also known as the Nissan Skyline GT-R, now comes with more advanced, distinct, and impressive improvements with respect to its drivetrain, transmission, ignition, and speed.

A driver who took it for a ride into the Thruxton race circuit last week manifested that its compact 3.8-liter engine powered by a 24-valve V6 has better performance than ever. In fact, it was suggested that due to the installation of a twin-turbocharger, the model is able to generate 570Ps at 6,800 rpm along with a 0-62 mph speed in only 2.8 seconds. The said performance was said to be similar to the McLaren P1, a far more expensive vehicle than the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo.

Furthermore, the said enhancements were said to be 20Ps more than its predecessor wherein the boosted pressure of the model's twin-turbocharger has improved its ignition. Because of said installment of an ignition timing system, the timing has been made to be more responsive and enabled the car to have a more powerful stroke.

The Upgrades

With respect to the improvements of the specs, the vehicle has also been made to be more efficient that friction between cylinders and other parts of it had been reduced. With that, the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo has become lighter, has improved its cooling system, boosted its superior power output, and, most especially, made it a fuel-friendly vehicle.

In other news, Auto Car reported that since the vehicle was on display at the New York Motor Show this year, the source indicated that the vehicle was apparently a contender in the market. In fact, costing £79,995 in entry-level Pure edition, it has been priced higher compared to the Honda NSX and the McLaren 570S - two of its best rivals in the market.

Although the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is priced higher, it has been deemed to perform better than the two in terms of powertrain and speed.
