Drift Mode = Power Mode

The E63 has always been considered one of the best high-performance sedans in the world. And this 2017, things are looking better as from the information we have gathered. The E63 will debut a completely new powertrain and the engine will be the 4.4 - liter V8 biturbo riding the Mercedes AMG GT . Obviously, given the high performance figures of power and torque, Mercedes has had no choice but to incorporate a 4MATIC all - wheel drive in order to derive all that power to the road in a more controlled and calm manner.

And now, Moers confirmed that it will also have the Drift Mode and that could change the game. The drift mode is a map will regulate engine components such as the steering, throttle and traction total. The program is so aggressive that it will be able to divert 100% of torque to the rear wheels. If you are not familiar about this system, the Ford Focus RS already has the Drift Mode and has served as the inspiration of the German developers.

Other Information

Moers also stated that the 2016 Mercedes-AMG E63 will have several mechanical options that are above and below the 600 hp - possibly an E63 and E63 S as what happens with the Mercedes- AMG GT and the Mercedes-AMG GT S. We also know that the new generation of the E63 will be considerably lighter than its predecessor and increase performance significantly while reducing consumption fuel and emissions.

In present, an epic battle over sports car sedans are happening. The E63, along with his family variant, the Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate will form a duo that will have to overcome the BMW M5 2017 and the renewal of the Audi RS 6 Avant, which for now has no date of arrival.

With all this, it seems that the Mercedes-AMG E63 2017 can accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in less than four seconds and with this performance it seems that it can perform well with its competition.
